Responsibilities |
Provide leadership to staff and contractors for measurement and quality analysis design Provide leadership for staff and contractors for the construction, installation, and programming of all measurement and analysis equipment including but not limited to flow computers, flow meters, and gas chromatographs Work with contractors to design back-office measurement data warehousing and reporting Ensure all measurement equipment specified for the project will meet the needs for both business and compliance requirements Review and provide feedback regarding meter skid design for the selected vendors Create solutions when in-scope work becomes critical path for project schedule As the project progresses, provide and implement staffing plan for personnel needed for measurement technical support Create and implement plan for monitoring and reporting material balance for the pipeline and facilities Work with SCADA to create and test control center alarms detecting off spec product when deemed necessary by engineering or operations Ensure measurement equipment and data meets DOT and other governing organization requirements Ensure API guidelines are followed for measurement equipment and software After assets are in operation, create and implement a maintenance and calibration plan for measurement equipment |
Skills and Qualifications |
Ten years of experience with oil / gas measurement systems Flow-Cal software expertise preferred. Other similar software suites acceptable Knowledge of Emerson and FMC Coriolis products Flow computer programming experience. Omni devices preferred Hands on field experience with flow computers, flow meters, and analysis devices Knowledge of CO2 measurement is preferred Budget creation and management for both projects and OPEX |
